White tea is the least processed of all the teas, as the leaves are left to oxidise naturally without any crushing or bruising.
In the case of Silver Needles, where only the top bud of the new season’s growth is used, the pure delicacy in flavour belies its higher level of caffeine.
Our other white teas are lower in caffeine, especially our leafy Shou Mei and Gong Mei, and offer fuller-bodied flavours.
Our white teas are good for ageing, as well as being enjoyed straight away.
